I was born and brought up in Frederick. I jokingly say that I left Frederick a nice Jewish girl, and came back an Episcopal Priest! I went to college in Portland Oregon, where I promptly lost touch with myself through drugs and other pressures. I went on a search for meaning and after some dead ends, found and was found by Jesus. I eventually went to Seminary at Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge Mass, and became an Episcopalian. I followed the call to priesthood and was ordained in 1987.
I have worked as Director of the Visitor's Center at Attica Correctional Facility in upstate New York, and in homeless programs, mental health, as well as parish settings. I have been at the Church of the Transfiguration for 26 years as a Priest Associate. I am now "retired", but will see me most Sundays, and you can call on me for pastoral support.
