The Church of the Transfiguration is a supporter of the many local organizations in the Frederick, MD area. Frederick Community College has used our space for adult education classes, and as our church is known for its acoustics, it also supports our local performing arts community by supplying space for rehearsals, recitals, and concerts. Among the current groups are:
One God ~ One Voice is a non-profit, Ecumenical Community Choir that has used our church for Christmas and Spring concerts for several years. Members come from a number of churches in Frederick and Washington Counties. Their concerts are always free.
The Frederick Chorale uses our church as their base for weekly rehearsals. While they generally require a larger space for their concerts, they do perform at our church on occasion. Refer to their website for additional information.

Church of the Transfiguration offers a columbarium wall and garden on church grounds, allowing for remembrance in a serene environment. Inurnment near brothers and sisters in Christ fosters a sense of belonging and preserves the member’s legacy within the faith community. Families often find solace in having loved ones’ final resting place near the church, a site central to their spiritual life.
