The Rev. Sally Joyner Giffin

The Rev. Sally Joyner Giffin has served in the Diocese of Maryland since 2006 and currently serves at Harriet Chapel, Catoctin Parish in Thurmont during the months she is not here. She and her husband, John live in Lewistown with their two dogs and two cats. They have a daughter who lives in Colorado and a son who lives in Middletown. Prior to her ordination to the priesthood Pastor Sally was a marriage and family therapist and taught college courses in psychology and education. She is the Director of the Thurmont Food Bank that each week provides food, hygiene items, prescription assistance, gas vouchers, and emergency housing to 50-75 families living in northern Frederick County.
