Heather Hinkle

Heather Hinkle came to The Church of the Transfiguration on a whim after living in the area for over 20 years and worshiping in other Episcopal parishes. She instantly fell in love with the welcoming atmosphere and friendly people.  She holds degrees in Psychology from Gettysburg College, and Special Education from the University of Maryland- Eastern Shore.  Professionally, she is an administrator at Frederick Community College. 

She settled in Myersville, Maryland after marrying her husband Mark. They have three college age children and always have a pet or two.  Other important parts of her life include horseback riding, hiking, planting trees, gardening with native plants, and serving on the Board of Directors for the Frederick County Mental Health Association.
