Middletown Valley Food Bank

Middletown Valley Food Bank (MVFB) has particular needs for toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, toiletries, and any / all food stuffs. Our Outreach Team has extended a challenge to donate 60 food & toiletry items each month in 2026. Through the first two weeks of August, we gave 61 items, 34 rolls of toilet paper and 12 rolls of paper towels! We have exceeded our goal every month this year – let’s keep it going! Thank you for offering these gifts of care for our community.

Adult Education Group

This informal group is held at 9:00 AM in the Memorial Hall. It is open to everyone and all are welcome. Come and share a donut and coffee as we discuss books about our faith. The book being discussed next is An Altar in the World: A Geography of Faith by Barbara Brown Taylor.

Canon Kate Riley Visits

On Sunday, September 13th, we will welcome Canon Kate Riley, our Canon for Youth & Young Adults, as part of our mission conversation series. 

Women’s Coffee Klatch

There will be no Coffee Klatch in August, and the next Klatch will be on Sat. Sept. 19th, at 10 AM in Memorial Hall.

We are working on shifting the weekly Announcements to our website. They will still be listed in the weekly bulletin, and thank you for your patience as we are refining our communication process. 

Next Vestry Meeting

The Vestry is taking a summer hiatus in August. The next Vestry meeting will be on Sunday, September 20th. Please connect with Lisa+ if you have questions or items for the Vestry’s consideration.
