UPCOMING EVENTS and ANNOUNCEMENTS

Middletown Valley Food Bank

Middletown Valley Food Bank (MVFB) has particular needs for toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, toiletries, and any / all food stuffs. Our Outreach Team has extended a challenge to donate 60 food & toiletry items each month in 2026. Through the first four weeks of August, we gave 121 items, 52 rolls of toilet paper and 15 rolls of paper towels! We have exceeded our goal every month this year – let’s keep it going! Thank you for offering these gifts of care for our community.

Introducing Britt Jones,
COTT’s new Diocesan Intern

Our Diocesan Intern, Britt Jones, will begin his ministry among us on Sunday, September 13th. Britt will be with us through January 10th as part of his on-going Diocesan discernment process towards the priesthood. Please wear your name tags or let the Parish Office know if you need a new one.

Britt Jones comes to us from All Saints, where he served as a lector, usher, and a member of their vestry. He works for the U.S. Department of State, and lives with his husband Seth and four children (well, three now; he just dropped his oldest daughter off at college in Michigan) in northern Montgomery County. His interests include trivia, hiking, theater, and seeing what the Holy Spirit’s up to at The Church of the Transfiguration!
